[Mira didn't deserve the last night that happened. Rhea had thoughtfully helped out Mira with her baking, even getting some fresh herbs from the garden. Then, meeting Ema they ate the baked treats in front of some movie that had been gotten out of the machine.

That's when things went very wrong. The movie was supposed to be a comedy, why in the world would that give Ema a heart attack? Rhea left Mira to see what she could find in the infirmary, only to collapse outside the lounge.

Rhea couldn't remember being moved to the chapel or being placed on a pew. She felt sore... and something else. She's sure that the poisons would leave her alone soon enough but--]

Ngh--! [She slowly sits up. Seeing, the first 'bystander' on the scene.] M...mira?

So I have a bit of a dilemma here and need to vent
(nothing serious I promise)

[ The text comes through a touch late on a restless Friday night, not too far after the clock on her phone's crossed over to Saturday. These days, it's not too uncommon to deal with insomnia at the start of the weekend; heck, there are some nights where she fully anticipates the date skipping right over to Sunday. It's not quite rational, but not a lot about their mutual Pacific Ocean excursion is, really.

That said, on the weekends Mira spends in Duckburg, it's also not uncommon for Ema to shoot something off to her friend in the middle of the night...if only to shoot the breeze and check in, in her own way. If Mira's already asleep, Ema considers that a win, in and of itself. And if she's not... well, at the very least, she'll know she's not up alone that way. ]

So its been almost two months since I started working with this team, right
But I still dont have a codename picked out for myself yet
And its actually driving me a little crazy because at this point its almost like yknow whats the use?? (╥﹏╥)
I mean everyone there knows my name and everything since I already introduced myself and its way too late to start asking people like
"Hey I know you've been calling me by my real name for weeks but please exclusively refer to me as my brand new *secret name* from now on??"
Like all of a sudden thats gonna hide my identity from the team of superthieves and internet tough guys
And its not like the work I do is so involved that any of the bad guys would be able to trace me down from it I think
But on the other hand I feel SO left out
Like it's kinda lonely to be the only one w/o an alias
Everyone's got these cool codenames and here I am plain old Ema
